Run in conjunction with the "Super, soaraway" SUN newspaper (but don't hold that against them), this website is simple and uncluttered and makes signing up and beginning to rent DVDs easy, but also features various search engines, lists and reviews to help you choose. The service works much like many of the other DVD rental sites listed in this category. You create a list of DVDs you want and however many DVDs your package allows you to have at once are sent to you by post. When you're done watching them, you just pop them in the pre-paid return envelope. As soon as they receive your returned DVDs they'll mail you your next batch of DVDs from your list.

The service is reputed to be fast and reliable, and value for money is highly competitive - comparing favorably to most of the websites featured in our top 10. Given that hardly any customers seem to have a bad word to say about the Sun Movie Club, it seems odd that it has yet to make a major impact on the UK online DVD rental market.
